Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information Window Savings collects when you use our enquiry form, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.
Last updated: 11 July 2026. “We”, “us” and “Window Savings” refer to the operator of this website. We are the data controller for the information you submit here.
What we collect
When you complete our enquiry form we collect the details you give us:
- your first and last name;
- your email address;
- your phone number;
- your postcode; and
- your answer to whether you own your home.
Alongside this, we automatically collect marketing attribution data so we
understand how you found us and can measure our advertising. This includes the campaign source,
medium and term (for example UTM values), advertising click identifiers passed
by ad platforms (such as a Google gclid or a Meta fbclid/fbc),
the page you first landed on, the date and time, your approximate IP address and your browser
user-agent string.
How we use your information, and our lawful basis
We use your enquiry details to process your request and to contact you by phone about the application you made — to discuss energy-efficient windows and arrange a free, no-obligation home assessment with a suitable installer. Any call you receive from us or a matched installer is directly related to the enquiry you submitted; we do not use your number for unrelated cold-calling.
We rely on your consent (given when you submit the form) and our legitimate interests in responding to your enquiry and running our business. Marketing attribution data is used under our legitimate interest in measuring and improving our advertising. You can withdraw consent at any time (see “Your rights” below).
Who we share it with
Window Savings is a lead-generation service; we are not the installer. Where your enquiry is a qualified match, we pass your details to one matched, independent installation company so they can contact you and carry out a survey and any work. That installer is a separate data controller responsible for its own use of your information. We also use trusted service providers (for example hosting and analytics) who process data on our behalf under contract. We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep your enquiry data for as long as we need it to provide the service and to meet our legal and accounting obligations — typically up to 24 months after your last contact with us — after which it is deleted or anonymised. Marketing attribution identifiers stored in your browser expire after 90 days (see our cookie policy).
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time.
How to contact us about your data
To exercise any of these rights, or to ask us a question about this policy, you can reply to any email or return the call from any phone contact we make about your enquiry, and ask for our data protection team — they will handle your request. If you would prefer to escalate a concern, you can also contact the UK regulator, the Information Commissioner’s Office, at ico.org.uk. We aim to respond to any request within one month.
